Introduction
Having been at sea for decades, I have often wondered why there are no services in our archipelago for people who are not boaters themselves. This lack has also been noticed by other people with whom I have discussed the archipelago sea and its magnificence. Having traveled the world and followed boating services in many different countries, I have also wondered why there is no actual boating service here, which would allow the customer to get to their desired destination in a nice and fast boat.
How is it that such a beautiful and unique place has managed to be kept a secret even from Finns? Unfortunately, not everyone has the opportunity to reach the most amazing places in the archipelago without a boat or boating skills. The uniqueness of the archipelago, which can only be seen by boat, is therefore completely missed by many. Ferries and slow-moving ferry services are not the same as direct access to the heart of the archipelago, taken by a professional driver on a magnificent boat chosen for this purpose.

Thanks to our long experience, we recommend excellent and exquisite destinations for archipelago tours, but we always take the customer's wishes into account. The boat's home port is Taivassalo, which is located in the middle of the magnificent archipelago halfway between the Turku-Uusikaupunki axis. From Taivassalo, you can reach the Åland side in about an hour. Our main cruising area is the western side of the archipelago, from Turku all the way to Uusikaupunki, as well as the archipelago area on the Åland side.
Boat selection and presentation
The search for a boat required several criteria, which decades of experience at sea had honed, thus serving as a great aid in the selection process. The list included features such as domesticity, familiarity, general appreciation, seaworthiness, sportiness, elegance, comfort, Yamaha engine, and many other basic boat features.
We especially wanted to focus on travel comfort by ensuring good facilities for passengers. We also saw an important requirement for a boat without a closed roof, a so-called Day Cruiser, where you are protected from the wind and can put the roof on if necessary. A toilet with a door and heating were also essential details when making the right choice. The more we went through the list of criteria, the more certain the choice was that it only pointed in one direction.
The direction was the Finnmaster T8, which is an internationally awarded, versatile and especially Finnish boat that is perfectly suited to our service.
The engine chosen was a Yamaha 350hp engine, which offers reliable and safe transportation with enough power to meet the needs of even the most demanding customer. This is a high-quality boat with high-quality materials, which is sporty and comfortable at the same time, and has functional space solutions.
